High Oxygen Barrier PP Plastic VSP Trays

The VSP Trays packaging accommodates products of different shapes and sharp edges, and can be skin-packed in cardboard for more options. Vacuum Skin Packaging (VSP) is increasingly becoming the packaging of choice for more premium food options. This shift to higher acceptance is largely due to new films that can accommodate products of different shapes, high protrusions and sharp edges. The ability to use cardboard for skin packaging expands the range of applications and options for VSP. The VSP Skin Film wraps around the product like a second skin, holding it tightly, but without tension and without affecting the shape of the product. The upper layer (film) and the lower layer (rigid film or tray) are completely sealed to each other, completely enclosing the product. Consumers are accustomed to seeing fresh meat, poultry and seafood on darker trays with top seals, as it has always been. With PP VSP Tray, the outer packaging looks almost invisible - the top film is pulled tightly over the product, which allows consumers to have a more intuitive shopping experience.
