Product Description

What makes VSP Trays special is that it uses a thin, clear plastic film, also known as a Skin Film, on a PP VSP Tray made of strong, durable, leak-proof material. While there are a wide variety of VSP machines on the market today, many follow a similar sealing process to keep fresh food safe and sealed for extended shelf life:

1. Place the product in a VSP safety tray, then take it through the machine into a vacuum sealed chamber.

2. In the vacuum sealed chamber, the vacuum nozzle removes the surrounding oxygen and the atmosphere around the product.

3. Immediately after the vacuum removes the air, the VSP machine pulls a flexible film over the product to seal in the surrounding oxygen and contaminants.

4. The plastic film can be heated to seal it around the product to the bottom of the tray, preventing leakage and contamination.
