Production Description

Datum is divided into design datum and process datum according to their different roles.  According to different uses, the process datum is divided into positioning benchmark, measuring datum and assembly datum.  Positioning datum refers to the datum used to make the workpiece occupy a correct position in the machine tool or fixture during processing.  Objectively, the selected datum should be as far as possible to meet the "one clamping, all (or most) processing".
