PROCESS FLOW CHART:
Air filter->Blower->Cooler->Adsorber(->Vacuum pump)->Buffer tank->Oxygen compressor->Cooler->Oxygen storage tank.
WORKING MECHANISM
The PSA oxygen generator uses zeolites as adsorbent materials to trap oxygen at high pressure in one adsorption tower, the process then swings to low pressure to desorb the oxygen while the other adsorption tower starts with adsorption process. The two process then alternate in the two adsorption towers, realized with control valves and PLC to have continuous production of qualified oxygen.
Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) technology can produce the desired gas much more efficiently. It draws the gas through the separation process with a vacuum, generated by a blower, The systems apply pressurized gas to the separation process and also apply a vacuum to the purge gas.
