Y 3593Polyester taffeta is made to imitate silk taffeta, which is one of the oldest luxury fabrics in the world, dating to the third century when it was woven by Persian artisans. Applications using polyester taffeta run the gamut from high fashion to insulation.
Nylon is a type of synthetic fiber that was first to be commercialized in the 1930s. Nylon has a higher cost than other synthetic fibers such as polyester and rayon, so people use it more often in applications where its specific properties are needed. It is a high-performance fiber that is difficult to tear and resistant to the elements. This makes it useful in jackets, outdoor furniture and recreation, linings and certain types of clothing.
Nylon benefits:

1. High mechanical strength, good toughness, high resistance to pull, pressure strength.
2. Fatigue resistance is outstanding, the parts after repeated twists and turns can still maintain the original mechanical strength.
3. Softening point high, heat resistance
4. Smooth surface, small coefficient of friction, wear resistance.
5. Corrosion-resistant, very resistant to alkalis and most salts, but also resistant to weak acids, oil, gasoline, aromatics and general solvents, aromatic compounds are inert, but not resistant to strong acids and oxidants.
6. Self-extinguishing, non-toxic, odorless, weather resistance is good, biological erosion is inert, has good antibacterial, anti-mold ability.
7. Have excellent electrical performance.
8. The parts are light in weight, easy to dye and easy to form.
