Auger bits, two blades, one is responsible for drawing round, equivalent to the role of chisel, another blade is responsible for shovel material, a small screw in the middle, for positioning center.  Auger bits drill out of the hole is relatively neat, no burr, drilling speed is fast.  Generally, the drill is long and used to drill deep holes.  

 

Attention should be paid to the operation: because the drill body and wood contact surface is large, friction generated by the heat is relatively large, if it is hard wood, often smoke, if the drill is not taken out in time to cool, the drill will even anneal, not hard.
