Product Introduction
Tris(trimethylsilyl) Borate (TMSB) is used as an Electrolyte Additive for High Voltage Lithium Batteries. The trimethylsilyl group can react with HF to form trimethylsilyl fluoride and dimethyldifluorosilane, which reduces transition metal leaching through HF on cathode. Meanwhile, a thinner and protective interfacial film with a lower LiF content is formed, which inhibits the decomposition of the electrolyte. Meanwhile, TMSB is also one of the Rate Capability Additives, it has a lower impedance,and it can improve rate performance, cycling stability of low-temperature, charge and discharge rate at room-temperature and high-temperature, reduce expansion rate of high-temperature storage.
