Product Introduction

Fluoroethylene Carbonate (FEC) is used as an Electrolyte Additive for lithium-ion battery, forming a dense and stable Solid Electrolyte Interphase (SEI) film on the surface of the negative electrode, which can improve the low-temperature performance and cycling life of lithium battery. In addition, FEC can suppress the structural fracture caused by the expansion of the silicon negative electrode under charging and discharging conditions, greatly improving the service life of the silicon carbon negative electrode.


FEC can also be used as an Electrolyte Solvent for lithium-ion battery. FEC can well dissociate lithium salt and infiltrate the cell system, which is very beneficial to the battery capacity and low temperature performance.

FEC is more widely used in ternary lithium batteries. FEC can be used as one of  the High Voltage Additives due to its high electrochemical stability and compatibility with high-voltage cathode materials, making it particularly suitable for High Voltage Lithium Batteries.
