ASTM A519 Mechanical Steel Tube

Produced into A519 from 1010/1020/1026/1035/1045 etc carbon steel and various alloy grades such as SAE4130,4140.cold drawn seamless (CDS)  tubes have closer dimensional tolerances, better surface finish and higher mechanical properties than the corresponding grades of hot finished seamless tubes.

CHARACTERISTICS

Cold – worked mechanical tubing is normally produced to OD and wall thickness.  If the ID is a more important dimension then cold – worked tubing should be specified to the ID and wall thickness or OD and ID
