OS & Y Resilient Seat Gate Valve

The BS5163 OS & Y resilient seat gate valve simple design makes it one of the most common water works valves in use. It can be applied to both liquid and gas services, although it is mostly used in liquid services. The rising stem soft seat gate valve was designed primarily for on-off service, where the resilient seated sluice valve is operated infrequently. It is not recommended to partly open the valve for adjustment of flow rate or emergent pressure relief blow-off. RSF’s BS5163 OS&Y resilient seat gate valve is widely used in the industry of potable water, sewage, and sea water.
