Our ductile iron BS5163 Type B metal to metal seat gate valve is one kind of water waters valves. Its simple design makes it one of the most common valves in use. It can be applied to both liquid and gas services, although it is mostly used in liquid services. The gate valve was designed primarily for on-off service, where the valve is operated infrequently. It is not recommended to partly open the valve for adjustment of flow rate or emergent pressure relief blow-off.
