API 602 Forged Steel Gate Valve

For 2" and smaller Gate Globe and Check valves, forged steel valves are introduced. Compared with castings, forged valve bodies offer the advantages of more uniform structure, greater density, higher strength integrity, enhanced dimensional characteristics and closer dimensional tolerances.

The design of forged steel gate globe check valve & Strainer are also various: Full port, conventional port / reduced port; bolt bonnet, welded bonnet and pressure seal bonnet; socket weld (SW), threaded, butt welded (BW) and flanged end. Special designs include bellows seal gate valve, cryogenic gate globe and check valves to -196C, extended body gate globe and check valves, per customers' requirements.
