316L Bolt and Nut Flange Adapter

Our universal flange adapter represents the latest mechanical coupling technology for connecting a variety of diameter pipes. The connect range can be from DN40 and DN1000. The customer has some special requirements of the product can also be designed and produced to meet Customer’s requirement.

The simplicity and versatility of our ductile iron flange adapter make them suitable for many applications including pumping stations, water purification plants, sewage treatment plants, plant rooms, instrument rooms, power generation equipment, gas stations and all pipelines.

Our ductile iron flange adapter is well suited for the installation of the flange pipe line, one end connecting the flange plate, the other end connecting socket pipe. Install easily and remove conveniently. Because of the large diameter of the pipe connected to the product, the line is allowed to have a±6ºdeviation when connecting the pipeline so that the normal movement of the pipe (such as ground subsidence, etc.). It can be used in the large bending radius pipeline caused the deviation.

The design and manufacture of our flange adapter is according to BS,EN,ISO,9001:2008 system and surface anti-corrosion material through the most stringent WRAS certification, so it can be used for drinking water. 

As an optional, we can provide our universal Flange adaptor coated with WRAS certified epoxy. For this anticorrosion coating, we provide excellent protection from transportation, storage, on-site and corrosion damage. We provide EPDM,NBR,SBR, nuts and bolts for carbon steel or stainless steel and long-term rust protection. Because this product can be connected to different pipe diameter of the pipeline, it can reduce the customer’s investment in the inventory.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1.Check if the product packaging is damaged during transport and confirm if the product is missing accessories.

Step 2. Clean the pipe surface of the spigot pipe, and the distance is greater than the length of flange adaptor.

Step 3. Check the surface of the sealing ring, make sure the sealing ring has no dent, bump and knock, if any, it will affect the sealing performance of the sealing ring, and the sealing ring must be smooth and seamless.

Step 4. Attach the flange adaptor for the flange to the pipe at one end of the pipe.

Step 5. Apply a special lubricant to the sealing ring and place the sealing trap on the pipe (the end of the bevel of the sealing ring should be in accordance with the direction of the pipe socket).

Step6.Installation and connection of flange adaptor

Ⅰ: slide the flange connection to the end of the pipe and leave the 5mm-10mm clearance at the end of the flange.

Ⅱ: connect the flange connection to the flange on the pipe and bolt it.

Step 7. Check the gap of mouth between flange joint mouth and spigot pipe, the gap among the upper and lower left and right should be consistent.

Step 8.Press the orchid over the robber and insert the bolt into the bolt hole.

Step 9.Insert the bolt into the flange hole and tighten the bolt. The bolt shall be tightened alternately. The nut shall be tightened according to the dimension of the bolt and the torque. After piping is pressurized, check if leakage caused by improper installation.

COMMON INSTALLATION PROBLEMS

1.    The bolt is not tight to requirement torque.

2.    A rock or fragment between a pipe and a gasket.

3.    Dirt on bolts or nuts.

4.    When installing, the socket is not close enough.

There is 5-10mm telescopic adjustment between socket. Another feature of the product is the range of connections. Because of the large diameter of the pipe connected to the product, the line is allowed to have a±6º deviation when connecting the pipeline so that the normal movement of the pipe (such as ground subsidence, etc.). It can be used in the large bending radius pipeline caused the deviation.

In addition, the pipe can be cut with different lengths, and the product connection is changed from a socket pipe to a flange connecting pipe. Install easily and quickly. Using only one wrench torque wrench to tighter high strength steel or stainless steel bolted connections is one of the most important features of this range products. In view of the above characteristics, the customer’s demand for product inventory has been reduced.
