The butterfly valve is one kind of important water works valves like gate valve and check valve, which is widely used in water transmission system.

The main function of Concentric Wafer Type Butterfly Valve is to control fluid flow rate in pipeline: turn handle or other actuator, the disc will rotate; lock the disc at the specified angle by locking device; the fluid flow rate depends on the disc angle; when the disc is turned 90℃ to the valve bore center line, the pipeline is cut off. Considering different connecting ends, the water work butterfly valve is classified in wafer type butterfly valve, lug butterfly valve, and flange butterfly valve, etc. The ductile iron butterfly valves are widely used in industry of potable water, sewage, and sea water. 

The max. length extended stem we have produced is 4.9meter for underground pump station service butterfly valve.
