API 599 plug valve called double block-and-bleed plug valves which is high-integrity, positive shut-off valves, which serves the pipeline, liquid bulk terminals, aviation furling, refining, oil and gas production and custody transfer for the petroleum and oil and gas industries.  Non-lubricated PTFE sleeve plug valve redice the constant wear by using 2 seat slips mounted independently on a tapered plug by dovetails, which mechanically retract from the seat surface piior to rotating. Valve material covers carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, duplex steel, such as WCB, WC6, WC9, CF8, CF8M, 4A, 5A, aluminium bronze etc. Non-lubricated PTFE sleeve plug valves are valves with cylindrical “plugs” which can be rotated inside the valve body to control flow through the valve. The plugs in plug valves have one or more hollow passageways going sideways through the plug, so that fluid can flow through the open plug.
