Spring wire grades	To be used for
SL	Tension, compression, torsion spring which are predominantly subjected low stress.
SM	Tension, compression, torsion spring which are subjected to medium high static stress or rarely to dynamic stress.
DM	Tension, compression, torsion spring which are subjected to medium high dynamic, Also for wire form which require severe bending.
SH	Tension, compression, torsion spring which are subjected to high static stress or slightly dynamic stress.
DH	Tension, compression, torsion spring or wire forms subjected to high static stress or medium level dynamic stress.
