Bromide commonly exists in nature groundwater in coastal area or desalinated sea water. When water containing bromide is sterilized by ozone (or other strong oxygenant), the by-product occurs, which is bromate.
Bromate is recognized as 2B carcinogen by WHO. In regulation/legislation of most countries/organizations, its maximum value of concentration in product water should be less than 0.01ppm (10µg/L)
Our bromate prohibitor---after we have done more than hundreds experiments and optimized design---effectively solves this problem. By taking advantage the low reaction degree between bromide and ozone in a lower PH value environment, this prohibitor successfully inhibits the occurrence of bormate, without sacrificing the effectiveness of ozone sterilization and quality of product water.
