About F.T.Y(false twist yarn):
The False Twist Yarn, as we know, is a special kind of yarn which appears twisted, but actually not E.g. FDY filament is processed with twisting, setting, untwisting, and then resetting. Thus it functions as twisting effect partially instead of that on the whole. Meanwhile, it can performance the outlooking of two-way creping.
This yarn of the kind also possesses features of being potentially curly and shrinking. It can be perfectly made into varieties of micro silk fabrics, such as crepe de chine –like, heavy-weight crepe-like, and satin. And these fabrics will be of good stretch, soft touch, and mild gloss.
