Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (5SM1)

5SM1 series residual current circuit breakers are mainly used in the electric distribution systemAC 230/400V or less with rated current from 16A to 80A, for residential, functional and industrial buildings, providing protection against earth leakage, insulation fault and fire accident caused by direct or indirect contact to electric parts (including human or other animal getting a electric shock), these series RCCBs are accordance with IEC61008 and DIN VDE0664.
Features:
1) 5SM1 residual current operated circuit breaker with integral over current protection can be used in both domestic and public fields for optimum protection of life against indirect contacts and short circuits or overload
2) The protection combines in fact a protection against earthing fault (differential protection) and a protection against over current detected in the installations. Magnetothermic protection versions using a rated residual fault current of 30mA also assure an additional protection in case of direct contacts
3) Equipped with over current triggers integrated and manufactured according to the most recent national and international standards of IEC1009-1 and IEC23-18
4) Sizes: in compliance with standard DIN43880, one module is 18mm (1 pole), front window height is equal to 45mm
5) According to IEC1009-1, 5SM1 type of RCBO has no special operation process, so it can be used by laypeople
