1. What is OCM sandwich panel?

OCM structural insulated panels (SIPs for short) also called sandwich panel is a composite building material. It consists of a sandwich of two layers of structural board with an insulating foam in between. Panel skins are magnesium oxide boards. Insulation core can be Expanded Polystyrene(EPS), Extruded Polystyrene(XPS).

(1) Standard size: 1200*2400mm/ 1200*2700mm/ 1200*3000mm;

Max width: 1200mm, Max length: 3000mm;

(Other size can be cut according to the requirement)

(2) Core material thickness:

EPS core: 50-250mm, XPS core: 50-100mm;

Regular thickness: 90mm, 100mm, 108mm, 120mm;

(3) Panel Skins options: Mgo board, fiber cement board, calcium silicate board, OSB board.

(4) Panel skin thickness(mgo board): 3-25mm;

(5) Connection: Tongue & Groove, Camlock, two or four sides closed;

6. Packaging & Shipping

>The Unload and Locate

The Panels will leave our factory on labeled pallets. You will also be provided with a list of what panel sits on each pallet.

When the pallets arrive on site, it will be up to the client to provide an all terrain forklift to remove from the delivery truck. Ideally these pallets are then placed around the site close to where the panels will be stood.

>Unwrapping Pallets

In order to protect the panels during transport, we wrap pallets in a cover skin of Mgo and then steel or plastic wrap each one. Avoid placing OCM sandwich panel in open sources of water and install soon after delivery.

Hold onto the additional cover sheets as these can be used to repair damaged panels, protect floor coverings or even be used as a free lining for 'after thoughts'.
