Aluminium honeycomb possesses an excellent strength to weight ratio. It is applicable almost anywhere, where lightness and strength are required and its use is therefore virtually unlimited.
The corex aluminium honeycomb range can be supplied in a variety of conditions:
Expanded or unexpanded
Full blocks or cut slices
Perforated or unperforated
Corrosion treated or untreated
Material specification
Our honeycomb core is manufactured with aluminium alloy grade 3003 or 5052. Both standard products are normally supplied in an unprocessed condition.

Corrosion treated honeycomb core is available on request.
Strength customisation
It is possible to customise the strength of honeycomb core by chemical etching to meet the customers exact strength requirements.
